The Ministry of Science,
through FONCYT, awarded three research grants to the Unit of Applied
Neurobiology (UNA) to develop the following Research Projects:
“Experimental and
ecological analysis of the development of cognitive control in children from
different socioeconomic backgrounds during their transition to primary school”.
PICT 2021-00533. IRs: Maria Soledad Segretin and Sebastián Lipina. The project
will be carried out between 2023 and 2027 and will involve researchers from
CONICET at CEMIC, from the University of Delft (Nederlands), and University of
Edinburgh (UK).
“Exploration of visual
selective attention mechanisms in preadolescents from different socioeconomic
backgrounds from the perspective of neural activity". PICT-2021-00841. IR:
Marcos Pietto. The project will be carried out between 2023 and 2025 and will
involve researchers from CONICET at CEMIC and the Artificial Intelligence
Laboratory.
“Diversity in
self-regulatory performance at the cognitive, neural and socio-environmental
levels: A contribution to the design of cognitive interventions in poor
contexts". PICT-2021-00788. IR: Federico Giovannetti. The project will be
carried out between 2023 and 2025 and will involve researchers from CONICET at
CEMIC and the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
